The following pieces are the more traditional Zemmour colors, in reds ranging from deep maroon to bright true red, with black and white accents and orange or yellow highlights. Since I want to get them online quickly, I will do less description than usual. Please ask if you have questions.
Piece 4.14522 is in the Zemmour colors, but was described to me as a "Oued Zem" rug. This may be true, given the unusual design bands in which each design is repeated twice, which you can see best on the close-up. The ground is a an orange-red with accents in black, white and orange. The size is about 3 x 5 feet (37" x 64" or about 94 x 162 cm) and the price is $100. SOLD
Piece 4.14524 is an unusual piece with its nearly overall pattern. It is a rich but subdued red with black, white and gold accents. You can see these better in the detail. This piece measures about 2' x 4' (25.5" x 45" or 67x 125 cm) and it costs $105.
Piece 4.14546 is a small rug in a rich red with a bold geometric pattern, especially the white figures. There are accents in black and an orange that tends toward a softer rust. There is also a design band I have never seen before, on the far left in this close-up. The size is about 27" x 40" (69 x 102 cm) and the price is $70.
Pieces 4.14548 and 4.14550 are very similar, with the same maroon, black and orange color scheme, yet somewhat different in size and design. I have put the photos together so you can compare more easily. I just did - and they show the small variations that it's fun to look for in handwoven pieces. How many can you find? These rugs may be purchased together or separately.
Piece 4.14548 has a unique design band between my index finger and thumb on the close-up. It measures about 27.5" x 38.5" (69 x 98 cm) and costs $65.
Piece 4.14550 has a different unique design band, the one Berbers often use and call hatif, to the left of my hand in the close-up. It measures about 28.5" x 45.5" and costs $70.
